Netcoins is a Canadian company based in Vancouver that is fully listed in the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) and publicly traded under BIGG Digital Assets.
I was introduced to Netcoins as a way to get money from my Canadian bank account to by cryptocurrencies for fund investments on other platforms.
Almost all of those investments collapsed in time.
However, Netcoins has proven to be a fabulous platform for investing, trading, and payments.
The fees are very low and you can liquidate everything and transfer to your bank account in an hour if needed.
I simply don’t think you will ever need to do that.
Funding by E-Transfer
Canada has a fabulous mechanism for transferring money from one Canadian bank account to another through email or text messages.
Transfers are nearly instant and fees are typically a dollar or free. You can send a payment of $2,000 to someone for $1.
Venmo is a similar service in the United States.
Investing in Cryptocurrencies
Netcoins allows you to buy and sell some forty different coins including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Cardano, Litecoin, Pokadot, Gala, Bitcoin Cash, Uniswap, PAX Gold, Cosmos, Render, and more.
The fees are low. I’ve been paying five cents on small eleven-dollar transactions ~ less than .5%.
Trading
Netcoins is a great platform for day or swing trading because the transactions are fast and the fees are low.
Here is a Bitcoin graph from a minute ago.
Both the phone app and the desktop allow you to quickly flip through the price charts for 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, and 1 year.
An Easy and Safe Trading Strategy
Here is something you can dry with as little as $100 making the minimal $10 trades following these guidelines.
- Buy when something is trending upwards.
- Sell when it is trending downwards.
- If the longer-term trend is upward, hold on to more as an investment. Sometimes the thing to do is buy and let it ride the small dips.
- If the longer-term trend is downward, avoid holding on to anything that is dropping in price. Sometimes it is better to sit on the cash and go for a walk.
Beware the Optimism Bias
The main challenge that I have had with trading is what I call the Optimism Bias.
Humans are wired to want things to work out and will hold on to losing trades hoping the price will turn to go up.
Sometimes the turnaround won’t happen for months, years, or ever and people simply watch their investment sink.
A strategy and discipline can help with that.
Learn to avoid ever having a losing day and your financial future is in your hands.
I will provide more trading strategies in another post.
Netcoins for Payments
I have a Netcoins Debit MasterCard that I can use for everyday payments.
Rather than pay 10 to 20% on credit card payments, Netcoins pays me 1% in Bitcoin for using the card for payments!
So I use it for buying coffee and bannock as Keluli, offline and online purchases, and paying international collaborators for their services.
Cool stuff!
Try Netcoins Yourself
Netcoins is not an MLM, though there is a reward program for referring people.
If you sign up with this link, I will receive $25 when you fund the account and buy a coin, and you will also receive a $25 reward.
